and it looks pretty similar to the picture.

Blocking someone just because of a question is really stupid though. If he's actually trying to do legit business then he shouldn't get discouraging people. He could just be really vague like "China" or say "I prefer not to answer" etc

I think the seller is just a little rude, his feedback seems fine so he does deliver the goods/I don't think hes a scammer.

hi guys this was sent to me by Nigeltech. Sounds legit.

"Hi Hannah, Nigel here
My wife has been running my trademe account "nigeltech" for a couple of years now, sort of a business. 20,000 auctions, 14000 feedbacks, over 9000 positive, so many from regular customers of course so they only count as 1.
We source the wigs from China, of course. We took a trip there, 3 weeks of walking door to door with an interpreter trying to source stock for our costume shop "Thats a Wrap Ltd", and of course some products to sell on trademe.
It took a lot of effort, a lot of money, and it takes quite a bit of time to get it all together, so yes, my wife was a bit short with the question "where did you get these?". Maybe she could have been a bit more diplomatic, but sometimes you get tied up in a situation, and things get loose.
Anyway, we are not scammers. The photos were kindly sent to us by our supplier, because we really struggled to produce something that showed the wigs off, which is why they are also on ebay. Anyway, I just wanted to clear this up. Hopefully word can get around that we aren't bad people, we are legitimate traders, and yes they are very good wigs.

It looks like maybe he didn't want to tell people he got the wigs from China, because people who source stock from China don't actually go door-to-door with interpreters. They do it through Taobao or its parent side, Alibaba.

So technically that means he's a middleman. I guess its convenient just to know he actually has stock though.
