Professor Stein - Stitches make-uphelp

Hey guys, i'm looking at cosplaying Stein at Armageddon this year and frankly, i'm a noob when it comes to make-up

just wondering what the easiest way to do the stitches will be, whether i go the distance and use make-up or if i just do the short cheap and nasty way of using sharpie >.<

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't use a sharpie on your face unless you REALLY want to spent an hour scrubbing it off.

You're better off investing in a decent liquid eyeliner, or better yet GEL eyeliner with a decent brush for fine lines for the stitches.

And I thought I had a picture when I was fooling around with makeup and did just that. But yes.

Invest in a decent gel eyeliner and brush it doesnt have to be super expensive. But something that won't drive you crazy that you have to touch up every 15 min or it smudges like crazy~

ty, i figured as much, sharpie is deadly after all >.< now just to up my make-up skills tenfold just like my sewing etc. for the coat lol

The stitches aren't difficult :3

It's like painting on your face and as long as you have a decent eyeliner brush (you can try a regular paint brush I guess but please get a soft one or you're in for a world of pain then you'd just be better off paying the same for a decent eyeliner brush~ The cheap ones feel horrible and moult like crazy before you even use them XP)

last year at Auckegeddon there was a fake scar/tattoo booth.... you could prob use that if it is there this year... although ...wouldnt rely on it too much incase they arent XD

Eyeliner would have been my second choice

I'm with Kagerouhi, if you're after basic stitches (no bruising or blood seeping out) then a decent black gel eyeliner is what you want. Keep in mind that gel eyeliner can fade, so you'd need to be checking it every hour or so for touch-ups. Though this is probably obvious (kitty of derp here), when you click on Lummy's link, you'll want to take that bracket at the end off otherwise it will come up with a Page Not Found.
