Cosplay Competition time?

Please lock and kill this thread once it is answered.

Does anyone know (yet) the time of day that the cosplay competition will be? I'm trying to book these cheap flights but I figured the competition might be the LAST event of the day like it is in Aucks. If the time isn't concrete yet, what was it last year?

it's the same for all geddons.
10:30am judging on the Sunday.
4pm on stage. (correct me if I'm wrong)

So it will basically end at 6pm? *looks at 6:45pm flight thoughtfully*

usually around 5:30-5:45pm but yea, if you want to be around for the entire comp make sure you calculate how long it takes to get from the venue to airport & the extra half early for luggage. Been through this for Auckgeddon, have yet to stay for an entire comp orz

If 6.45 is your only option we can work around it (factoring in the hour or so you need to get there) :) If there is a later one it will probably be easiest- but then you have the issue of getting from the airport home and we don't want anyone to be stuck on a Sunday night in the dark trying to wrangle shuttles etc!

Ohh my parents are flying with me that weekend, so when we get back I'll have a ride home. :] I mostly just don't want to leave before I see who gets the last award. I've never been to Welly, so I dunno how far away the airport is from the showgrounds
