| If you're entering the comp, the specifics are in the rules, but as a general rule of thumb it has to be an existing published character. most entries so far have usually been from anime, manga, or games though, with some from movies. as long as you can show reference photos of the character, and it's not an 'original character' (completely made up), it's generally Ok.
That said - go read the rules if it's for the comp. ;p If it's just for hall cosplay or casual, you can do pretty much whatever you want. Just keep in mind the safety aspect with any props aswell. _________________ SPCC - Helping Promote Cosplay Since 2009 - www.cosplay.org.nz & here SPCC Wiki - Need Cosplay Supplies, Know where to get them? - help update our Wiki! 2010 Cosplay Calendar - On Sale Now - Look Here! - Now only $10 $5 Wellygeddon 2011 Photos |
